No MIDI data transmitted - Need your help #394

Hi there,
So I've had my performer for a while and its been quite some time now that I've been trying troubleshoot this issue.
- The Performer won't receive nor transmit midi clock, or any other midi data.
- Important to note that this used to work just fine for me in the past.
Checking the midi monitor page it shows no activity.
I've tried the following:
- Tested different clock sources (namely a Ableton/Fireface 800, Analog Rytm, Octatrack, Akai Force.
- Used the same cable as to transmit midi commands to the Force - instantly received and shown on the midi monitor.
- Bought a new midi TRS Type A cable - issue persists.
- Verified Midi is set to receive from All with Midi and USB RX/TX set to Yes, clock on Performer set to either Auto or Slave.
- Tested different firmwares including the very first and latest ones including another in between.
- Tried to send clock from Rytm to Performer's USB - same issue.
- I did try to use an alternate firmware in the past but can't recall if the issue started since.
- I used to use the Novation launchpad TRS midi cable before selling it, but as the Perfomer isn't receiving clock via USB I'm not convinced this is the issue.
I would hugely appreciate any help/insight any of you guys can provide.
I bought the module second hand and it worked fine for years.
