Portable applications #20
Description
I would like to ask if it is possible to have portable application binaries built with UniCAVE? Currently they are not portable in a sense that in the Network Initialization script I have to specify a HeadMachine and Server Address. If the application is running on another machine it times out and exists because the head machine server cannot be found.
In my opinion UniCAVE should allow for portable applications running in standard (non-clustered) environments without modifying.
Or is this already possible?
