evcc showing SoC which if off from actual Tesla App

I use the implementation with evcc where I see my Tesla's SoC being 55 % e.g. and the Tesla app shows 54 % only.

I use EVCC and Teslamate for the SoC, and we frequently have a 1% difference.
We notice that at the end of the charge when we ask 85% and back in the car (or the app) it say 84% (and the same for other target values).

I am not sure where the issue is, but it does not seems big an issue, and maybe you experience the same discrepancy as me.

PS: I don't use this project to control my car anymore, I use tesla_ble_mqtt_docker (but that does not matter).

Thanks, David. This is exactly what I’m seeing. Plus a lot of timeouts for the state API.

May I ask for the reason you are using tesla_ble_mqtt_docker

No particular reason to choose one project or another.
I tested both and I tested both on an Intel NUC and on a Pi4.
I guess I stopped experimenting once I had a working solution.
Teslamate is already using MQTT, so is Home Assistant, so it did seems appropriate.

I will have to revisit this with and choose a project again to get the SoC from BLE... this is why I continue to monitor both project.
