Wisp ring signatures vs. other coins #3
Description
There should be an overview of the implications of our current technology in the context of other technologies like used by Monero, PIVX, ZCoin and ZCash. Some use zero-knowledge proofs, zk-SNARKs, ring signatures or a mix of them. How does the Wisp/XSPEC implementation differ, and what implications does the chosen technology have for the anonymity set, scalability, resource requirements, forward secrecy etc?
It would be good to have a table comparing these properties of the various approaches, to point out the relevance of Wisp in the context of other projects.
