Ability to pull full-text posts where feed only contains summary text

Some commercial RSS readers (e.g. Newsify) have the ability to pull full text from an RSS feed even where the feed only includes the summary. This would be very handy for rss2email and presumably not especially complex to code at least for simple cases -- just pull in the content from the field and include it in the email. Ideally you would also pull out just the main text from the page (perhaps there are already modules that accomplish this). Has anyone done any work on this or expressed interest?
