Play forward stepwise #859

What are you trying to do that you can't?
There are cases where it would be helpful to play the program forward, one step at a time. This is currently functionally possible (press reverse to start, then step forward), but it's not obvious how to do this.
What is your idea?
This idea would be a pretty simple: we'd just add another mode to the mode switcher in the output toolbar. In addition to having a pause and play button, we would have a play stepwise button, which would just pause and reset to the start. It would be a shortcut for functionality that's already possible.
