Reloading eix database doesn't clear zombie package status

Zombies are packages that are installed but the ebuild is no longer present in portage. These are installed packages (and present in /var/db/pkg) but for which the ebuild has disappeared from portage - an "emerge --depclean" would normally remove them. Note that eix itself shows them as installed, but they are not recorded in the eix database.

The option "File | Reload EIX database" should clear zombie states if a depclean has been done, but they're still there afterward. Restarting the s/w fixes it, so the reload is missing something. Not loading the updated pkg database?

parseEixData only reads the pkg database if there is NO filter, because it can't do the merge with a filter present.

• It would work if the pkg d/b was filtered the same way as the eix search. Don't want to do this because the filter is handed straight to eix, so the pkg filter would have to copy eix.
• Always reading/merging the pkg data would not work because anything not selected by eix filter but in the pkg data would show up as a zombie. Quite a lot of them.
• The pkg data is currently stored first, then the eix data is merged in. Could do it the other way round - if there is a filter, only store pkg entries that match existing category/package entries otherwise store all of them?
