Not a direct issue, but instead a current limitation within the package. It would be greatly beneficial to have a parameter built within the alpha and beta diversity workflows, for both the visualizations and the statistical computations, to filter out subgroups to enhance the resolution of certain pieces of data. This would avoid having to make numerous filtered variations of your metadata file. For example: I have longitudinal data points, and I would like to have the plots only assessing one timepoint at a time. I don't want a beta diversity plot that's lumping baseline and final timepoints together. While it may be considered minor, this would greatly improve "user-friendly" application. To note: I tried numerous variations of code within the mbSet workflow to filter out groups for the visualizations and, while it ran the chunk, it did not result in an effect on the visualizations.
