Completely broken on i3

Describe your issue

When on i3, apps dont seem to be rendered at all
For example, if I open a terminal, I just see the border of the app, but nothing inside it. If I open another terminal, then it seems to render 1 frame of the terminal but i cant interact with it at all.

Steps to reproduce

1. Use i3
2. Use xlibre

What did you expect?

For apps to render

Additional context

I am using an NVIDIA RTX 3070, an Intel i5-12600K, on Ubuntu 25.10
Happens on both glx and xrender
using nvidia-580 and specifically 580.126.09

Try startx xterm and run some commands.
Also, send (Xserver) logs.
