[FEATURE] (iOS) App icon badge notifications

First of all thank you for developing such a helpful app!

For the iOS version: It would be very helpful if there was a badge notification on the app icon showing the number of habits that have not been checked off today. This would give users a nice and quick way to see if they have forgotten to check off any of their habits.

The idea of having a badge showing pending habits is interesting; however, there is an important aspect to consider regarding different habit types.
For boolean or checkable habits (Yes/No) —for example, “Take vitamins”— the behavior is clear and the badge would make perfect sense.

On the other hand, for progressive habits or habits evaluated at the end of the day —such as “Avoid sugar during the day”— the badge would remain visible throughout the entire day, even while the user is still successfully following the habit. This could be confusing or create a feeling of premature failure.

This complexity becomes more noticeable when both habit types are combined, as the number shown in the badge would not accurately reflect the user’s actual daily progress.

For this reason, it would be necessary to define clear rules around which habit types are included, when a habit is considered pending, or whether the badge should be configurable by the user, in order to avoid an ambiguous user experience.

That said, it is a valuable suggestion and definitely worth evaluating carefully from a user experience perspective.

Additionally, final decisions are made by @xpavle00 , so we would be waiting for their approval before starting work on this feature.

Thanks for the suggestion. I will look at the iOS badges behavior, but I tried to do the same thing with Android a few years ago, and it was a bit frustrating during testing to have that badge there the whole day for a habit you need to do in the evening. (I personally want to have all dots/badges clear as soon as they appear). But I'll leave this open; maybe there will be some reactions to this.
