Decorators - Question 2

I implemented it using a global variable, which will keep track on the amount of calls to the function so far.
Is this the correct way to implement?

Does this work for you? I get

NameError: global name 'counter' is not defined

The trick is that scalar variables - where you need to assign to them in order to update them won't work well here, but if you used a list or a dictionary, then you can update one of the values in the internal function as well. Try that and paste it again.
