Hey, I was looking for exactly this, a way to do for-comprehension in coffee-script.

This project looks old, and from the looks of your submitted issue nobody had much love for Monads, but I would be interested in using this.

I tried merging master from the main repo, and it was conflict hell. I wonder if you can give me an overview of how you added your extension, and I can patch it into the latest version.

I don't expect much love from the community, but I really miss Monadic patterns from Scala.

Whew, that was quite a while ago! Check out the "mocoffee" branch, that's where I did all my work.

If you're interested in functional stuff + JavaScript, maybe you'd be interested in my Leisure project, which is a lazy, functional language that compiles to JavaScript and has a notebook environment that runs in browsers (currently Chrome only). I'm looking for people to help me with it. I had a brief look at Leisure, I think it's a cool idea but beyond the scope of what I want to do right now.

When you get the video out, I will check it out.

I am still going to try to hack CS and include for-comprehension starting from your code. I wrote some minimal but functional Future / Option code, and it would be a nice change from callback-hell.
