I would like to see the name of the current layer on my screen, even when Keymapp is minimized. My ergodox-ez has lights that can show the layer number of up to 8 layers, but I have many more layers than that (tour)...
I was thinking of either writing a plugin for sketchybar, or a small swift app to surface (until if/as/when this becomes a supported feature of Keymapp).
It looks like the protobuf spec could be modified to expose this. . . But Keymapp would need to vend that information.
