This is my project for a full-stack stock suggestion and tracking app. It has a Node.js/Express backend with MongoDB and a React + Vite frontend. Real-time updates are sent over WebSockets.

cd stock-suggestion-backend
npm install
Create a .env file in stock-suggestion-backend/ and add your config. Example:
PORT=5000
MONGODB_URI=mongodb://localhost:27017/stock_suggestion
JWT_SECRET=your_secret
CLIENT_URL=http://localhost:5173
Run the server:
npm start
cd stock-suggestion-frontend
npm install
npm run dev
The app should be at http://localhost:5173.
