This project explored how decoherence and control imperfections limit the quality o qubits in near-term quantum hardware.
To ground the simulations physically, I studied thermodynamics and statistical mechanics (MIT OCW) to understand noise as a consequence of coupling to uncontrolled degrees of freedom.
Simulations are implemented using Qiskit Aer.
