EU5 Language for Notepad++

This repository contains an .xml file with a custom syntax, designed to provide support for Notepad++ (https://notepad-plus-plus.org/downloads/) to handle the script of Europa Universalis V (2025).

Installation:

1. Open Notepad++
2. Go to the Syntaxes tab
3. Press User Defined Syntax
4. Press Define Own Syntax
5. Press the Import Button
6. Select the EU5_Notepad_Language.xml file, downloaded from this repository
7. Import Successful Banner should appear afterwards if everything is done correctly
8. !!! RESTART Notepad++ BY QUITTING the application and opening Notepad++ again !!!
9. Go to the Syntaxes tab
10. Select EU5 Script from the drop-down menu

Please note, that EU5 Language for Notepap++ is still Work-in-Progress, so not every keyword is highlighted.
