Guidelines for Creating and Registering Custom Objects in Scene Generator

I want to use Scene Generator to create a new scene. Nevertheless, LLM generates codes with hallucinations because there are no objects available in source/geniesim/assets/objects. How can I create the assets I need to create custom scenarios?

the default Scene Generator searches within the assets provide, the hallucination happens sometimes, which llm are you using? can you share the LLM_RESULTS.py and your prompt?

This is not an issue with the LLM or the prompt. The real reason is that there are no available objects in source/geniesim/assets/objects. For example, there is no chopstick in source/geniesim/assets/objects, so the LLM cannot generate the correct LLM_RESULTS.py.

Therefore, I would like to create a chopstick asset and add it to source/geniesim/assets/objects. Could you please tell me how to create and add a new asset?

you can start with copy benchmark_apple_000 to benchmark_apple_999, replace Aligned.usda with your file, and add meta infos in item.py/description.py accordingly, the assets will be automatically indexed by assets module
