Reading subdirectories

SSLM should be able to handle subdirectories for each object. What I like to do is to put my files into a given structure, e.g.:

Sky

• M101
• • 2026-02-10 LP 10s
• • 2026-02-11 IRCUT 10s
• M31
• • 2026-02-12 LP 20s
• • 2026-02-13 LP 20s

So when I select my root directory (sky), it discovers objects, correctly catalogs them, but shows 0 files per object because it only looks into the main directories (M101, M31) and one with dates.

Hi. thank you. Indeed, for now, i only follow the "Standard" directory structure of the S50, ie "MyWorks/M 31" and "MyWorks/M 31/M 31_sub (Eq mode). If the session was taken in Alt/Z mode, it will be "MyWorks/M 31/M31-sub" (Will be available in next update) which will be created by the "Import" or "Merge" functionality.
There is no support for "custom" directories but it would be a great addition in fact that could be detected by a "rescan" of the library. Would be diffifult to implement though as i guess everyone has his/her own organisation but, If you could share your organisation, i could see as a stepping stone for a more "global" approach.
I guess i could look for any files with "M 31" inside the tree and rescan the tree to update the location. Will have a look at it :)

Hi, thanks for the quick response. I think what you wrote at the very end makes the most sense - do not look for a particular structure inside the object directory - just take all files from subdirectories.
