Could you provide a source for this statement?

Using the word 'deadbeat' is offensive to dead people and other people who identify as voters.

Typo, misplaced "not". Also, you mixed "or" and "and", a common mistake.

Should we clarify that this is more a "rule" than a "note" for maintaining this document?

Thank you for your contribution, @Sarthak-Sidhant.
Unfortunately, I think that your patch fails rather miserably on the following three key points:
- It is not even valid Markdown, so it would not display correctly. This is annoying for a markdown page.
- It provides no source whatsoever for otherwise strongly opinionated assertions.
- It uses words such as "deadbeat" that are presumably offensive to a large fraction of the voting base in blue states.
Here are my suggestion to move forward:
- Add back all the source that contain the string
x.com/LundukeJournal. Note that the string is considered a seal of quality by @BryanLunduke, the author of this repository, so he would appreciate the gesture. - Learn about markdown syntax, there are plenty of decent tutorials. I like this one.
- Reword the comment about "deadbeat" journalist. I made a suggestion where I tried to preserve the spirit of your text in all its glory, but feel free to not reword it at all.

Thank you for your inspiring and motivating suggestions @c3d |
But he works at red hat so he's a good person |
Just working for them does not mean anything, unless you do bad thing or promote bad thing, but can be a red flag if you create a software like SystemD (even thought that guy now work for microslop) |
