Adding in Montreal's data. WIll need a quick PR 😄.

Similar to Vancouver, I added in the tangible capital assets / non tangible capital assets.

The "deficit" is actually the "Change in Net Debt" on page 26 of the report (-888,047).

Hey, thanks for putting this together @thalasith ! Some feedback:

  1. IMO the revenue side actually goes too deep such that all the layers are too squished. Eg perhaps we can remove this layer:

  1. On the expenses side, what is "controlled organizations" vs "municipal administration less eliminations". On a related note, any luck finding any breakouts of wages vs operating costs? I find that the most interesting part about Vancouver and Toronto personally.

Also tagged Brendan for an eng review.

@melkuo sounds good! I'll delete a layer for it along with any changes Brendan says from engineering perspective in the final commit to this branch.

For your questions:

1. What is "controlled organizations" vs "municipal administration less eliminations"

_Boris: Schedule 2 breaks down the revenue / expenses into these categories. Eliminations is always a negative amount (so it would mess up the visualizations. My understanding of elimination is that it's an accounting term to adjust any intercompany transactions - so it was best to subtract that with the municipal administration (at least IMO).

I don't live in Montreal (unfortunately :)) but I understand "controlled organizations" would be like other government organizations that is outside of the ville of Montreal's "control" - e.g. maybe the company that is responsible for the trains._

2. On a related note, any luck finding any breakouts of wages vs operating costs?

_Boris: Yes, I found some stuff... but it looked quite "sus" to me. Happy to include it (but would want to chat with you + maybe an accountant on this).

The total value of the table below adds up to CAD 8,714,225 (at the bottom) and 🟩includes🟩 things like "Amortization of tangible capital assets", "Write-offs of TCA's", and "other objects".

However, the statement of operations shows that the total expenditures is also CAD 8,714,225 and it 🟥excludes🟥 things like "Amortization of tangible capital assets", "Write-offs of TCA's", and "other objects".

So this looks off to me - and potentially an accounting error? But would want to make sure I am not being an idiot before we start saying these things 😄_

For the nesting, I would create two categories, one for Transfers for capital investments and one for Transfers for operations
