Setup up a docker environment for a streaming sync between two Apache IoTDB instances. One representing an in-vehicle HPC VSS data store, the other a cloud VSS data store. Summary
Setup up a docker environment for a streaming sync between two Apache IoTDB instances. One representing an in-vehicle HPC VSS data store, the other a cloud VSS data store. The latter could also be an in-vehicle telematics unit that used AMQP or MQTT for the cloud connection.
Notes
In the COVESA Data Architecture team we have discussed using m/w to sync between VSS data stores.
This work in progress (WIP) pull request makes public a CDSP example docker environment using Docker Compose, along with notes, that allows investigations into using Apache IoTDB's streaming sync features.
The example is completely self-contained and you could simply copy the directory into your own CDSP instance if you wanted.
