Most Sri Lanka travel content online exists to rank on Google or sell you something. Travel agency blogs, affiliate review sites, and even fake "official" portals (particularly around ETA visa applications) make it harder than it should be to find straightforward, honest advice.
This is an attempt at something different: a free, independent, non-commercial guide covering everything a traveler actually needs from visas and packing to emergency contacts and hidden gems.
