Setup

Add the following to "Additional Boards Manger" in the preferences window:

https://adafruit.github.io/arduino-board-index/package_adafruit_index.json, http://arduino.esp8266.com/stable/package_esp8266com_index.json

Uploading to the LoLin

• Go to tools > board > board manager then search for and install "esp8266"
• Change board to "Node MCU 0.9 (ESP-12 Module)"
• Set upload speed is set to 115200
• You should now be able to upload code to the board
