Projects Page Customization

To customize the projects page:

1. Login to the WordPress admin dashboard
2. Navigate to "Pages" from the sidebar
3. Select the "Projects" page

Projects Page Title

To configure the page title find the "Title" section. From here you can:

• enable or disable the title
• change the title

Projects Page Paragraph

To configure the page paragraph find the "Paragraph" section. From here you can:

• enable or disable the paragraph
• change the paragraph

Note: by default, the paragraph section is disabled

Projects Carousel

The projects carousel uses posts to populate the carousels. All "projects" are blog posts that are put into the carousel. Wordpress categories and tags are used to show specific projects in each carousel.

Add and delete carousels

To add or delete carousels, find the "Projects Page Carousels" section. From here you can:

Add a new carousel

1. Click the Add Carousel button (located in the bottom right)
2. Select Single Carousel or Tabbed Carousel
3. Enter a title
4. Select a category
   • When a category is selected, only posts that belong to that category will be displayed in the carousel
   • If the post belongs to multiple categories, it will not be displayed
5. Filter by tags
   • Tags are used to further filter the posts that are shown in the carousel
   • When tags are selected, only posts that have those tags will be displayed in the carousel
   • If no tags are selected, all posts that belong to the category will be displayed
   • If the post belongs to tags that are not selected, it will not be displayed

Creating a new category or tag

You may need to create a new category or tag to add more carousels or add additional filters to existing ones

1. To create a new category
   • Navigate to "Posts > Categories" from the sidebar
   • Add a new category, by filling in the Name, Slug and Description fields. Parent Category is optional
2. To create a new tag
   • Navigate to "Posts > Tags" from the sidebar
   • Add a new category, by filling in the Name, Slug and Description fields.

Delete an existing carousel

1. Click the – (minus) button next to the carousel

Add, edit and delete projects

To add, edit or delete projects, navigate to "Posts" from the sidebar. From here you can:

Add a new project

1. Click the "Add New" button (located at the top of the page)
2. Add the category and tags to the post from the right-hand sidebar
   1. The category and tags must match exactly what is configured in the projects carousel. See step 4 and 5 from the Add a new carousel section.
3. Add content to the project, please refer to the blog page to learn how

Edit an existing project

1. Select the project you want to edit
2. Edit content in the project, please refer to the blog page to learn how
3. To change which carousel the project appears in, change the category and tags to match exactly what is configured in the projects carousel. See step 4 and 5 from the Add a new carousel section.

Delete an existing project

1. Select the project you want to delete
2. From the sidebar on the right-hand side, click "Move to Trash"
