Summary

This PR updates the project README to improve visual presentation, accessibility, and quick access to resources.

Changes

•	Added centered Cortical Labs logo at the top using <p align="center"> for consistent GitHub rendering.
•	Introduced a set of Shields.io badges for:
•	Visit Our Website (custom icon, default Shields gray #555)
•	Join Our Discord
•	Open Issues count
•	Open Pull Requests count
•	Grouped badges directly beneath the logo for a cleaner, more modern header section.
•	Updated section structure to match GitHub-friendly markdown patterns (avoiding inline CSS that GitHub strips).
•	Retained all original text content but reformatted into clearer sections (Overview, Getting Involved, Further Information).

Rationale

•	Improves project branding by showcasing the Cortical Labs logo prominently.
•	Provides quick-access links to website, Discord, and GitHub activity without scrolling.
•	Uses GitHub-compatible HTML and markdown to ensure consistent rendering across all devices.
•	Keeps the README lightweight and maintainable by avoiding unsupported styles and external dependencies.
