This pull request makes two main changes, both explained in the commit messages for 9f6c2f9 and 1cb3888. Note that I could not think of a better place to put the "Why are some controls disabled?" command; if you can, feel free to update this branch (I have "Allow edits from maintainers" turned on.)

I haven't touched the changelog. If you want me to, just let me know. Thanks!

This is the recommended font for use in Windows apps
since Windows Vista. I also resized a few of the buttons
to keep their intended positions (as changing the font
resizes all controls to avoid clipping their text).
While the system menu is not the best place to put this,
the app's UI layout precludes (easily) placing this command
elsewhere.

I thought that a new user might be wondering why the
Auto Update settings are always disabled in the Store version,
even if the application has been launched as an administrator.
