I created a simple widget system and some widgets, that can be used to quickly create an interface.
Based on this system I created new book for spell recipe. The main focus was on localization.
You can see this on screenshot bellow.
Both left and right lists are scrollable (without scrollbar) and selectable (but without effect. I think, that they can send user to respective compendium page in future)
