Overview

This repository includes materials for the PhD lecture titled Research Synthesis: An Introduction to Reviews, Meta-Analyses, and PRISMA Criteria.
This lecture is intended for PhD students in Psychology and related fields.


Repository Structure

  • ResSynth_2025-pdf.pdf: Compiled PDF version of the slides, generated from the .qmd file
  • ResSynth_2025.qmd: Quarto source file for the slides, includes YAML and Beamer settings
  • figs/ Figures used in the presentation slides
  • metafor_R/
    • dat_bias.csv, dat_mes.csv: Example datasets
    • meta_an.Rmd, meta_an.html: R Markdown script and compiled HTML output for conducting a meta-analysis with metafor
    • Molloy_et_al_2014.pdf, Quintana_2015.pdf: Articles related to the content of meta_an.html
    • R_syntax.R: Raw R code related to meta_an.html
  • PRISMA-Explanation/: PRISMA articles (see info in slides)
