FINPLAN Projects

This repository contains a collection of FINPLAN projects, including input datasets, results, and documentation. The structure is designed to support reproducibility and collaboration.

How to Contribute

To contribute a new project or update an existing one:

1. Click on ‘Fork’
2. Select owner and name your forked repository
3. Click on 'Creat fork'
4. Click on ‘Add File’
5. Click on ‘Create New File’
6. Name new folder ‘[name]/’
7. Create a README inside the folder, describing the included FINPLAN .zip files and the associated publication.
8. Click ‘Commit Changes’
9. Add commit message and description
10. Click ‘Commit Changes’
11. Create a metadata.json with key details such as:
    • Country and sector
    • File version (file_version)
    • FINPLAN version (finplan_version)
    • Time period
    • Authors/contributors
    • Link to peer-reviewed or government publication
    • License
12. Upload zip and any other relevant files (Add File > Upload files)
13. Click ‘Contribute’
14. Click ‘Open Pull Request’
15. Add a title and description
16. Click ‘Create Pull Request’
17. Editor will review and approve pull request, once this has happened your content will be available on the main repository. If you want to make any edits to your files, please follow the same steps as before.
