Release v0.28.0

New Features

• forc-crypto migration (feat: migrate forc-crypto from sway to forc monorepo #808): fuelup now sources forc-crypto v0.71.0+ from the forc monorepo instead of sway. Older versions continue to work from the legacy location.

• forc-wallet migration (feat: enable forc-wallet migration from standalone repo to forc monorepo #807): fuelup now sources forc-wallet v0.16.0+ from the forc monorepo instead of the standalone forc-wallet repo. Older versions continue to work from the legacy location.

Internal Changes

• Target triple resolution refactored (feat: migrate forc-crypto from sway to forc monorepo #808): Target triple format (simplified vs Rust triple) is now derived from the component's targets field in components.toml rather than using is_distributed_by_forc(). This makes the system more flexible for future component migrations.

Upgrade

After this release, users should run:

 fuelup upgrade
