The video_normalizer integration has been rebranded to video_tools. All references across code, configuration, and documentation need to reflect the new name.

Changes

  • manifest.json: dependencies: ["video_normalizer"]["video_tools"]; version bumped to 1.2.5
  • __init__.py: Updated import (video_tools.video_processor), domain check ("video_tools"), conflict-detection strings, notification title, and notification_id
  • README.md: All current-facing references to "Video Normalizer" and github.com/Geek-MD/Video_Normalizer updated to "Video Tools" / Video_Tools
  • CHANGELOG.md: Added [1.2.5] entry and comparison link

Migration guide "Before" code blocks intentionally preserve video_normalizer.* service/sensor names — they represent the historical old automation code users are migrating from.
