sounds do not play for highlights only if highlight type is regexp

TLDR

• highlights work
• sounds on highlights play for BeginsWith and String
• sounds on same highlights do not play if type is RegExp

Hypothesis

I have reason to believe sounds do not play on highlights when and only when the highlight type is RegExp and not String or BeginsWith.

Testing Strategy

After discovering this issue, or thinking I had, I created a highlight for anatomy compendiums that would color the following string red to indicate learning was suboptimal on the chart:

"With a sudden moment of clarity, the information on the chart suddenly makes sense to you."

I configured an alert.wav for this on a String, BeginsWith, and RegExp highlight iteratively to see when the sound would play.

The String highlight: With a sudden moment of clarity, the information on the chart suddenly makes sense to you.

The BeginsWith highlight: With a sudden moment of clarity, the information on the chart

The RegExp highlight: ^(With a sudden moment of clarity, the information on the chart suddenly makes sense to you.)$

Testing Results

In each case, the highlight was correctly colored red.

In the String and BeginsWith, the alert.wav played correctly.

In the RegExp highlight, though colored red, failed to play any sounds. I reconfigured the sound multiple times with other wav files, but none of them played.

Conclusion

I concluded there must be a bug where sounds are not playing for highlights if the highlight type is RegExp.
