ActiveAcoustiX

ActiveAcoustiX is set of MATLAB-based codes designed for the processing the active acoustic raw data from the hydraulic fracturing experiment: M03. Specifically, the .bin data from hydraulic fracturing experiments conducted at the Geo-Energy Laboratory.

To use it, first open the main file

Active_Acoustic_Process_Code_11_02_M03.m

in MATLAB and add the "subcode" folder to your MATLAB directory. Then, run the main MATLAB code section by section.

Once you've obtained the results, manually pick the relevant data points. Finally, process these peak data points to create the fracture front geometry in either radial or elliptical shapes.
