If you are using Blender, please export models with these settings:

Blender Settings

  • 1 Unity unit = 1 meter
  • When changing Y (stairs or steps, etc)
    • We will move entities on an even slope from the center of one grid cell to the center of another. So for the best visuals, you should start steps at the center of a grid cell and end one step before the center of a grid cell. StairsTop StairsBottom

    • Anywhere entities will walk (i.e. hallway, stairs, doorway) must be 2 (or more) grid cells wide. Try to center the grid cells through the path / door.

    • Walls / anything which blocks a straight path must be at least one cell wide.

  • Everything is positioned within the grid and there are no dupes allowed within a single cell, multi-cell structures are okay (like a 2x2). You can also be offset from the center of a grid cell.

If any of these rules are too restricting, let me know. There are always more options...
