This looks very cool! Is there a way to update the version number in all these files after each push so we don't need to manually modify multiple files?

I'm not aware of an existing workflow to sync them for release, we've just been doing a basic pre-release checklist for dates and version tags in the two files. |

This way we don't have to re-enter the grant info, references, etc. on Zenodo every time we have new release. It is set to match the current version released last week.
