A pirate-themed gameplay prototype inspired by Sea of Thieves, focused on building realistic ship interaction systems and ocean-based mechanics.
- Fully controllable pirate ship (wheel steering, sail scaling and rotation)
- Working anchor and ship ladders
- Functional cannons with smoke and explosion effects
- Ship interior water system and water-filling mechanics
- Tools system:
- Plank – used for repairing damaged parts of the ship
- Bucket – used for removing water from inside the ship
- Separate water systems for sea and ship interiors
- Camera and player movement improvements
- Basic environment and interaction systems
This project mainly explores challenging real-time simulation systems such as:
- Water simulation and buoyancy
- Cloth simulation for sails
- Ship physics and control systems
- Player controller systems
- Interaction mechanics and visual effects
This project is primarily a technical learning and experimentation project aimed at building core pirate-game mechanics.
