Goal: Study repository, labs, and technical documentation for the Power BI Data Analyst exam.
This project follows an agile methodology managed via Jira (Kanban) and version control via GitHub to track my progress from intermediate to advanced levels.
The repository is organized according to the official exam domains:
- 01-Data-Preparation: Data sources, Power Query, basic M Language, and Data Profiling.
- 02-Modeling-DAX: Star Schema, Cardinality, Row-Level Security (RLS), and complex DAX measures.
- 03-Visualization: Storytelling, Dashboard Design, AI Visuals, and Accessibility.
- 04-Cloud-Service: Workspaces, Gateways, Apps, Incremental Refresh, and Governance.
| Tool | Function |
|---|---|
| Power BI Desktop | Development of models and reports. |
| Jira Software | Study backlog management (Kanban). |
| GitHub | Version control for .pbix files and Markdown docs. |
| DAX Studio | Optimizing measures and performance tuning. |
- Modeling: Star Schema vs. Snowflake Schema difference.
- DAX: Mastery of Filter Context vs. Row Context.
- Performance: Using the Performance Analyzer.
- Security: Configuring Static and Dynamic RLS.
- Distribution: Managing Workspace roles and permissions.
Study tasks are tracked via Jira tickets (e.g., E1-12). Every commit in this repository references a specific milestone in the certification roadmap.
