This PR fixes a couple of typos in the text, and removes references that are not used in the paper. Please check and merge if you agree.
In addition, I noticed that the text contains all of "sequencing coverage", "sequencing coverage depth", "sequencing depth" and "coverage depth", without explaining whether any difference in meaning is intended between these. Could you look through these mentions and harmonize the use?
