Restore an Old Tournament

As I envisage things, Restore is only going to be used in those cases where you are going to want to turn off the computer. That might be after lunch, it might be after going home at the end of the evening, it might be after somebody spills coffee over your machine. We don't care what the trigger is, we just want to explain what to do.

Restore lets you load a tournament from 3 different files, then load the completed results for each round. It doesn't look at the standings files. The 3 initial files are:

  1. settings.txt
  2. players.txt
  3. init.txt

After reading these, it looks at the results file for each round you have told it to consider.
After Restore completes, you can make a new draw for the next round to be played.

How to trigger a Restore? Well just launch Ire in the normal way and direct it to the working folder which you were already using. You will be prompted as to whether or not you want to Restore. If you answer Yes, you will be asked for the number of the last round which was completed. The results up until that point - the end of the last round - will be taken into account.
