Previous version used modules from .module dir in $HOME or from grenvilles $WORK dir.

Confirmed as working by Ralph Burton for casim 6341 and socrates 358. A separate PR will be needed to allow newer versions of casim and socrates to run as this would require a deeper dive into the reading changes |

Draft of the archer2 compatibility modifications
Currently works with archer2 gnu and cray compilers, with standalone, casim and socrates.
Testing with other configurations needed
