  1. The projects are re-arranged to move ML related ones first, as this is the GSoC main focus (and some minor formatting).
  2. The application template is based on the linux foundation one (with attribution).

All project headings were changed from level 2 (##) to level 3 (###), but the "Less concrete projects" section at line 195 still uses level 2 (##). This creates an inconsistent heading hierarchy where individual projects are at the same level or lower than the section they belong to. Consider either keeping all project headings at level 2, or changing "Less concrete projects" to level 2 if projects should be level 3 subsections.

Nit: maybe tidy up the structure now that we have more then one file?

Create gsoc/_index.md without content (similar to https://github.com/LeelaChessZero/lczero.org/blob/master/content/play/online/_index.md?plain=1) to create "Google Summer of Code" section, which cannot be selected at its own.

Rename "2026" and "Application Template" docs to something without "Google Summer of Code" in the name (both titles and file names), as it's under the section already.
