+Dr. Yao is a pediatric neurology fellow at Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children’s Hospital with clinical and research interests in machine learning, multimodal predictive modeling in neonatal neurocritical care, rare genetic neurologic disorders, and neurodevelopmental outcomes. Her work integrates basic neuroscience evidence, large-scale clinical data, and large language model (LLM) tools to improve genotype–phenotype understanding and early diagnosis. She focuses on translating computational methods into clinically usable decision-support systems that enable personalized patient care.
