This PR ports LDLib2 from NeoForge to Fabric 1.21.1.

Changes:

  • Replaced NeoForge-specific systems with Fabric API equivalents
  • Removed Forge/NeoForge integrations (KubeJS, JEI/REI/EMI hooks where incompatible)
  • Adapted rendering and model handling
  • Updated project structure and build system for Fabric Loom

Notes:

  • Some integrations were removed due to platform differences
  • Further testing may be required for edge cases

This is an initial port and may require additional refinements.

Looks great, thanks a lot for your work!
I’m pretty busy with my research right now, so I don’t really have the bandwidth to maintain multiple platforms at the same time. That said, I really appreciate this initial Fabric port PR — it’ll save me a lot of time if I decide to support Fabric later, since I can just cherry-pick and merge updates.

Even though this 1.21 PR works nicely, I’m still a bit concerned about whether I can keep up with maintaining Fabric in the long run. Especially with Fabric updates (like 26.1+ and future versions), migration can be quite a headache. But I’ll give it a try. Also, if you’re interested in helping maintain the Fabric version long-term, feel free to let me know! And if I eventually stop maintaining it, you’re totally welcome to continue distributing the Fabric port yourself (as long as it follows the license) — I’m completely fine with that.

I will cope with this pr later this weekend
