Installing DynaPage

#NOTE: these instructions are for version Alpha 1.0. Read the included documentation for help installing 2.0

  1. Download .zip file
  2. Unzip said .zip file
  3. Copy all files in .zip file to wwwroot on webserver
  4. Visit your.site.com
  5. Log in as 'admin' and password is 'dynapage'
  6. Write your first post!

If you were able to set up DynaPage, go over to the Getting Started page to learn how to write your first post.

Troubleshooting

If you encountered errors, see the following sections.

404 Error This error is caused by a missing file. Check to see that you used FTP on the correct files and that they were moved to the correct directory on the server.

500 Error This is a problem on our end. Let us know ASAP to help us help you have a better experience with Dynapage.

503 And Other Errors This probably means that you have not installed the newest version of PHP. Either that or your web server software is broken. Ask your server administrator for help.

"Windows cannot find a program to open this file" If you see this when you try to visit your /index.php, you have not installed PHP yet. Install it, then restart your computer. If you continue to have this problem your server software does not support PHP. Try XAMPP (for all platforms).
