A series of adjustments, built atop the recent changes to the patient session page design, to reduce the amount of page scrolling required during vaccination sessions.

All examples shown using 11" iPad in portrait orientation.

Session overview page

  • Move the session date into the caption (which in most cases should reduce the word length, and therefore overall height of the page heading)
  • Reduce padding on the dark blue banner
  • Reduce padding for the page container
  • Reduce size of the heading for the filter sidebar
Before After
session before session after

Patient session page

  • Reduce padding on the dark blue banner
  • Reduce padding for the page container
  • Include the child’s name when the banner is in the stuck position
  • Remove the link to the patient record (as link to programme record is now available)
  • Layout the summary list horizontally on smaller breakpoints
  • Highlight health answers with a ‘Yes’ response using a yellow ‘warning’ card
Before After
patient session before - scroll top patient session after - scroll top
patient session before - scroll patient session after - scroll
