Currently, I am a Data Science Intern @ Center for Energy Research for UC San Diego. I optimize energy usage and help UC San Diego save money through analyzing historical and temperature data.
My past experience includes:
- Data Science Intern @ Skechers USA. Built out a new data quality pipeline for Skechers that helps identify outliers within data from different aspects of business.
- Data Science Tutor at Halicoglu Data Science Institute. Tutoring and hosting office hours for 50+ students in introduction to data science courses.
- Capstone Project with Director of AI @ Google. Built out Chenly Insights, a tool used to identify misinformation present within news articles, using both generative AI and predictive AI in tandem. Paper
- VP Projects of ACM managing 30+ projects for AI, Design, and Software Engineering.
- Data Science Mentee working with Deloitte to solve a drug use problem: Slideshow
- Researcher at Scripps Institute of Oceanography for using NLP for climate action documents. Built out visualization to see what topics each country focuses on for their NDCs. Link
- Data Science Intern at Hey Social Good. Worked on making the sustainability assessments more efficient. Created a tool to capture all information related to a company.
