I don't have a PNG for you but you could just as easily create one for your mastodon profile. :)

Ah, I didn't realize there's several variations in circulation. I like your colors better, but I'm not quite sold on the proportions? (I understand the 'triange grid' is satisfying, but I'm not sure my preference for the existing proportions is purely based on familiarity)

Remembering you having posted a blueprint in https://discourse.nixos.org/t/2025-04-04-branding-redesign-minutes/62708/7, I ended up making the logo with typst: https://typst.app/project/rNeNklro9fjCoGkKvOj2bw

Typst due to its speed makes for a great playground, and its SVG exports are usually very clean. You're free to use it as you see fit @djacu

The new logos in the branding repository will be the official as soon as I have finished the work on the branding guide. It still needs some copy for the front matter, branding identity, and a few other sections need work. The marketing team has begun using these resource for the website and social media account because the files can be vendored or used directly, but I don't expect other teams to start using them yet until there are stable file paths for them to refer to. E.g. nixpkgs and infra repositories.

Much of the official artwork has been migrated to the new nixos/branding repository and as such this repository will soon be publicly archived (see #155).

Let's figure out how to get this integrated with the new repository.
