The gocfl-extension-manager is an initial extension with the purpose of controlling the startup of extensions. Since there is no rule, how extension are applied to OCFL structures, this manager extension tries to start a discussion about this topic.
For handling extension, the rules should not prevent the creation of efficient and fast OCFL tools. This means, that it MUST be possible to write an OCFL object as a single data stream. Therefore, rereading or rewriting is not an opportunity.
