While extracting the gene-disease matrix from OMIM, I came across this repository. The existing parsing functionality is very useful, but I saw an opportunity to make it more convenient for direct use.
To enhance usability, I refactored the code into a Python package with an installable script. It now generates a binary output file for easier loading and leverages multiprocessing ⚡ to accelerate processing, improving efficiency and user experience.
