This test fails, because the parsed year value (using `key()`) fails the correctness check, because it has a newline in it. Signed-off-by: Stefan Marr <git@stefan-marr.de>

This adds a test and fix for a year value failing a regex check.
Perhaps the trim should be done inside the key() function, would avoid other potential issues.
